Akash, born in Mumbai, an award-winning cinematographer, has crafted a distinct visual style that blends aesthetics with deep philosophical insights. His work, showcased at prestigious festivals worldwide, is driven by a commitment to experiential storytelling—creating films that don’t just tell a story but immerse the audience in its emotions.

In 2025, his short film Anuja earned an Oscar nomination, and he was honored with Best Cinematography at HollyShorts, London. As an Associate Cinematographer, he has contributed to major feature films, including Saare Jahan Se Accha, Kesari 2, Despatch, and Aap Jaisa Koi, available on platforms like Netflix, Hotstar, and Zee.

Akash refined his craft at Prague Film School in 2019 with an Advanced Cinematography Course in 2021. With a passion for innovation and empathy-driven visuals, he continues to push the boundaries of cinematic storytelling.​
