Akash Raje

Born in Mumbai, Akash was gifted with a Nikon FM2 when he was 12 years old, it was then when he started looking at the world through a viewfinder. He traveled with his father and was introduced to many beautiful and remote locations in India as he grew up, it was then in these growing ages when he decided to explore his surroundings and capture moments in his life with a camera. He eventually completed his BA in Film TV and New Media Production from K.C College, Mumbai, and after a few stints on film and tv sets he went on to do his Diploma in Advanced Cinematography from Prague Film School, Prague, CZ. He is currently working as a Freelance Cinematographer and as a 1st AC in TV Commercials and has assisted various DOP's in features for Netflix and Hotstar.
